Mehndi

Mehndi, the Art of Henna has been practiced in India, Africa, and the Middle East for centuries. Henna is derived from a plant known as Lawsonia Inermis. It is natural, safe, painless, and temporary. A great way to celebrate life’s special occasions.

Henna is traditionally applied during wedding ceremonies and other joyous celebrations. It is believed to bring love and good fortune. The Art of Henna is a wonderful way to celebrate any special occasions and make events more memorable.

Henna marks the rite of passage of marriage in a girl’s life and her initiation into womanhood. Henna symbolizes symbol of love between husband and wife. The bride’s intricate mehndi pattern normally has the name of the groom interwoven into it. The groom is expected to find his name in the pattern. If he cannot do so, it is said that, the bride will control the marriage.

Casual Henna Tattoos

Henna tradition is a temporary, pain-free body ornamentation alternative to tattooing. Henna is now the hottest new trend among women and men. As the trend grows in popularity, so grows the list of personalities that have been seen sporting henna patterns.

Bridal Henna Designs

Pregnancy Henna

A Blessing Way is held before the birth of a baby to provide support and encouragement to the expectant mother. One form that a Blessing Way can take is a traditional baby shower in which close friends and family, sometimes all women, and sometimes both men and women, gather to show support, coordinate postnatal meal plans, sing, and bless the mother. We do not use Para-henylenediamine (PPD) or Black henna which harms the skin.
